App finds a Facebook friends in real time

We all already know the Facebook app geo-locates to you when you make an update, a bit like Foursquare via GPS. Well, by mid-March, the social media giant intends to push the envelope even further.

A new Facebook app will be launched which will allow you to geo-locate your friend (s) in real time, wherever they are. The App, which is the final phase of development will be primarily based on the system of "Friends" or Apple "Latitude" Google, showing the position on a map of the people on your contact list.

Of course, to be able to locate a friend (s) in real time with this app, you must a priori that person activates the GPS on his Facebook account. The advantage with this gadget is that it makes things easier if for example you have to meet a friend and you want to know where it is because it is an hour late.

The problem is to let the application in active mode at any time. Because of course we do not want to be followed by everyone and reveal our travels throughout our network, or even the world. So as with all things about social media, especially Facebook, is to take everything with a lot of moderation.
