Samsung presents the Galaxy Xcover 2


With its IP67 certification, the Galaxy Xcover 2 is resistant to water and dust and is thus directed to a very specific use.

While not everyone has eyes for the Galaxy Note 8, Samsung presents the second iteration of its Xcover, a smartphone whose main characteristic is its high resistance. Closely resembling a Galaxy S3 Mini, Xcover 2 however has a hard plastic shell and is IP67 certified. This certification means that it is dust proof and water resistant up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. A certification that also has the Z Xperia from Sony. The animal displays the following dimensions: 130.5 x 67.7 x 12 mm and weighs 149 grams.

Side of the screen there are 4 inches WGA displaying a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) customized with Samsung's TouchWiz interface with respect to the operating system. The Xcover 2 is powered by a dual processor heart at 1GHz, 1GB of RAM and has 4GB of storage expandable via SD card up to 32GB.

Modules WiFi, Bluetooth - use external forces thought - GPS, are the game. A 1700 mAh battery powers all while the camera sensor, with a button designed to capture underwater is 5 megapixels and has a flash. Finally, a front VGA camera is also present and it is possible to attach a strap to the phone.
