Windows 8 run slower than Windows 7 and Vista

Two months after the official launch of Windows 8 reaches a global market share of just under 2% at the desktop, according to statistics from Net Applications. One could say that it is honorable, but in reality it is quite low if we compare the business performance of Windows 8 to those of his predecessors. According to a graph Computerworld, Windows 7 reached a market share of 6.2% two months after its official launch. Even Windows Vista arrived in the same period, to 2.2% market share.

For now, Windows 8 is therefore worse than Vista, although it was the largest commercial flop in the history of Windows. These figures are of course to be taken with caution, because they do not account for Christmas sales. In all cases, it is far from a spontaneous rush to the new Microsoft operating system.

Several factors could explain this. On the one hand, the PC itself is a product in decline in favor of tablets that attract more consumers. The new interface with tactile tiles ("Metro") may also have the effect of discouraged a number of users, accustomed for years to double-click the drop-down menus and start button. Moreover, it is interesting to note that the market share of Windows 7, however, continues to increase.
